Came home from work today to find that some **** (had to be careful there, didn't want teh ban) had knicked all my red alloy dust caps and let one of my tyres down.

On the off side, they had also nicked these:

Its the nut that screws onto the valve before the dust cap.
Do they have an actual name and where do you get them from?
Been into 2 motor shops today who said they didn't sell them and that I would have to get them replaced by the alloy manufacturer? This can't be right, surely?

If that is the case, does anyone know the website/contact details for Lorber?

Any ideas guys

Yours

Flucking stabards!!!1 Some flucker knicked one of mine when I was over the other week!! I'd totally forgot. Our alloys do have funny vale whatsits and are manufacturer specific. I am seein another guy with lorbers over the weekend so I'll ask him about his. Mine are SSR mag-alloy RS8s FTW.

Cheers mate.

I dunno if its safe to drive without them? The valve douesn't move when the tyre is fully inflated.
It was a bugger trying to inflate without this bit as the valve nearly disappeared into the alloy
Grrrr

Get a normal nut with the right thread from a hardware type place for the mo mate. I wouldn't want to have that fall in at speed. I guess it's only the air pressure from behind it, keeping it in place at the moment. Halfords in Hereford do boxes of mixed nutz and stuff at the moment. It might be worth grabbing one of them and trying a few to get the correct thread (Or i guess you can take another one off and take it into the shop ftw).
