MG TF
Hello Yes!!!! I went to see a friend of mine today who has got the afore mentioned car. We first had a run in mine and I let him have a drive in it. He was full of praise for my mx5 mk2 stating it was like a new car to drive. By the way it's ten years old.
Then he took me out for a drive in his. OH DEAR how crap are these MGs, I can honestly say it was absolutely terrible. The clutch pedal was hard to press, it shook 2 of my fillings out,( the suspention not the clutch pedal) and yes he's just had the head done.
MGs.......Bah humbug.

Me too (except for the fact they always seem to have to buy lots of parts for mots etc and theyre a lot newer than ours) but general concensus from car enthusiasts and every mechanic Ive ever talked to is theyre a bag of sh.t. Will have to drive one one day to see!!

Well i have driven an MG TF and owned an MR2 and now a 5 and from my own point of view the MG and the MR2 weren't a scratch on the 5.

Tis true !!
I do remember when i got my MR2(2ndGen) though and i sort of sat/laid down in it. The driving position was really cool and laid back, the gears stick was short and high and i thought it was ace !! I'd been driving an old diesel Mondeo for the last year or so, so it was heaven.
