Fantastic afternoon meal in this great little village pub

PIE TYPE: Steak and Mushroom in Ale

PROPER PIE (Sides, top and bottom): Not served as such, just a portion with the crust placed on top

SHORTCRUST OR FLAKEY: Flakey

ACCOMPANIMENTS: Mushy peas and THE best hand cut chips I have EVER tasted!

QUALITY OF GRAVY: Excellent

QUANTITY OF GRAVY: No extra gravy, not needed as the pie filling was so succulent!

PIE RATING (1-very poor. 5 - excellent): 5

COMMENTS: Dare I say...the best pie I've ever tasted

One to go pay a visit to !!
