PIE TYPE: Matt's homemade beef and Murphys Pie.

PROPER PIE (Sides, top and bottom): Very definitely proper!

SHORTCRUST OR FLAKEY: Homemade shortcrust
(Matt says: Sophie Conran recommends 2 parts plain flour, 1 part fat and enough water to bind.)

ACCOMPANIMENTS: Broccoli and gritty leeks (Fi washed em but obviously not enough!)

QUALITY OF GRAVY: Good, but not quite enough!

QUANTITY OF GRAVY: Lots when we put extra on, not quite enough in the pie alone. (that's me sleeping on the sofa!)

PIE RATING (1-very poor. 5 - excellent): 4.5

COMMENTS: Yum Yum Yum pie. And he made two, so we are having the other one tonight! Hooray!

You can NEVER have enough Pie!!!

Is there any left over?

It's in the oven at the moment and I have been out today with a friend landscaping someones garden, so I doubt there will be any left!
