Car Insurance Rant!I have had my policy for the past year with Morethan and I have just had my renewal through and it is £100 more expensive and this includes 2 months free as a 'loyal' customer! 
I went on their website last night for a quote as a new customer and it works out I could save £130 by setting up a new policy. I have just spoken to them and they said they couldn't offer me any further discounts as I was getting 2 months 'free'. Absolutely insane!

Ive just had a rant with LV
The DOB and start date was wrong on my new policy so I requested the change of details. "Sorry Sir, we can't do that. You will have to start a new policy with the correct details and then stop the wrong one and claim your money back"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rant Rant Rant.
Just got my money back after going to MD and having a general fit. I'm staying with my old insurer. Its not worth the trouble to save £10.00

at least your not under 25 and buying an MX5 - i got a quote of £1000 then discovered i had bought an import so the quote doubled...
now paying £400 for the xsara and £200 for the FZ600 - bargain

Did you get a limited mileage policy mate ?
Lol sorry mate, its just nice to not be on my own when it comes to havin a vehicle that spends more time in bits than it does on the feckin road !!

yeah limited to 8000 miles but ill just buy a new clockset if it goes over
ill race you to the finish mate - although yours is still in one piece

Im feckin sick of going to Steves and hasslin him to get some work done on it but all i get is one excuse after another !! so yeah in one piece but mostly smashed pieces still !!!

Had this problem before. just need t go on money supermarket or similar, get a quote, get the quote number and ring the insurer with the number and the price. They will give you insurance at the price quoted!! No need to tell them you've had a quote £100 more!!
