naughty gear changeHello,. Been out for a drive around in the five and sometimes I cannot change gear at all. It's not me being all girly, it just won't go in. I found that if I pumped the clutch, it behaved itself.
I have not popped the bonnet to check the clutch fluid level yet so it might be that. Has anyone got any suggestions? So could it be that I need a new clutch, or that I need to change the rubber gaitor under the gear knobbly...or look into the transmission?
Help!!!

start with the basics fi, check the fluid level, it wouldn't hurt changing the fluid , and bleeding the system, wouldn't be expensive, see if that cures it b4 ya start talking about gearboxes, check the slave cylinder, also not an expensive fix,

Thank you mate. Is it ok to drive it cos I am supposed to be going away in it tomorrow! I can top up the fluid if it needs it before I go.
