A full roll cage would be awesome but im guessing very heavy and a pain to get in n out of.

yes some serious roll bar, no good for me being tall i'd knock myself out with the speed bumps on our roads, still, would imagine its very effective.

yeah but tbh how often do we get to push our cars to the limit on our feckin roads, and lets face it if we went on a track day i know i'd feel a lot happier in my car with that set up rather than being a second or so quicker. But i know what ya mean. wonder how heavy it would be ?

Think if the car was supercharged or somethin I'd fit a roll cage, but my only critisism of the 5 at all is it could do with more power and adding more weight would have the opposite effect. I'd even like t take the carpets out t save weight but somehow don't think lise would go for it!! Definately would be better for trackdays but have'nt done one yet in three years.

well i do have the extra power, but tbh since i bought the car, my main aim has been to buy a proper roll bar.
To me it seems madness not to ! style bars are death traps and provide no protection at all and some are more dangerous to have than none at all. Eg the one i have which is very similar to a lot of others is known as a mouse trap.
